After several years of rigorous happy hour strategy sessions, the Stock Grill Challenge (SGC) was born and the first one was held in November of 2011 in the parking lot at Blanco’s. We had 13 teams participate in 4 different categories including brisket, chicken, ribs and an open division, (anything the teams wanted to cook). All teams cook exclusively on their issued-that-morning, still in the box, standard Weber grill.

 

We are very proud to have the group of people we do involved in the SGC, the teams bring amazing talent, spirit and creativity to the cook-off, the judges do an outstanding job and we are very excited about this year’s Stock Grill Challenge!
