Join us to give cancer the boot!
Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025
MD Anderson's Boot Walk to End Cancer® is a 1.2-mile walk in the Texas Medical Center or in your own neighborhood. This 10th annual fundraiser provides support for patient programs, research, prevention and education at MD Anderson, and 100% of funds raised by participants directly advance MD Anderson's mission to end cancer.
There is no registration fee and no minimum fundraising requirement. However, we encourage all participants to fundraise! When you register for the Boot Walk, you will gain access to pre-loaded fundraising tools and receive support from our team to help raise funds and awareness within your community, family, and friends.
On Saturday, Nov. 15, put on your favorite pair of boots — cowboy, rain, combat or other — and join thousands across the country for this year's Boot Walk. All ages are welcome to participate. There's fun for the entire family!

Virtual Event Day Schedule
Date: Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025
Opening Ceremony: 9:00 a.m. CDT.
Get the most out of your personal Boot Walk:
- Watch the opening ceremony with your teammates before setting off on your walk. The video link will be sent to all registered virtual participants the morning of event day.
- Coordinate your team outfits.
- Fill out and wear your “I give cancer the boot for” sign.
- Gather friends and family to join your walk.
- Share selfies or videos from the day at a post-event virtual celebration with your team. Post them on social media with #EndCancer.
- Download the DonorDrive app (iPhone or Android device) to track your steps and give cancer the boot wherever you are!

Step 1: Register

Step 2: Recruit and Raise Funds
- Rally your friends and family to join your team from anywhere in the world. 100% of funds raised directly advance MD Anderson's mission to end cancer.
- Participants who raise a minimum of $100 earn their 2025 Boot Walk T-shirt. (More reward levels coming soon.)
Step 3: Join Us on Saturday, Nov. 15
In Person Attendees
Meet us at the Texas Medical Center for a 1.2-mile walk featuring entertainment along the way. We will walk, rain or shine! Important updates will be shared via email, text and the DonorDrive app (iPhone or Android device).
- Dress comfortably. Boots are encouraged but not required. Stop by the Spirit Gear tent for dedication bibs, stickers, temporary tattoos and more!
- Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome.
- For the safety of all walkers, four legged friends must stay home.
- Following the walk, there are activities for the whole family. Snacks and water will be provided, and food truck fare will be available for purchase.
- Activities will feature event sponsor areas, photo opportunities, a dedicated kids' zone and more.
