Why Support is Important:
Ovarian granulosa cell tumors are rare and often neglected by research into the causes and treatment of more common types of ovarian cancer. At MD Anderson Cancer Center there is a unique collaborative research program focused entirely on ovarian granulosa cell tumors. This research program encompasses clinical trials, laboratory-based drug development, and clinical research focused on the causes and optimal treatment of this understudied disease.
A key component of the granulosa cell tumor research program at MD Anderson Cancer Center is an international registry of patients affected by this disease (GCTRegistry.org). This registry strives to advance clinical research in treating granulosa cell tumors by cataloging information regarding patients’ diagnosis, treatment course, surveillance and recurrence patterns, and disease outcomes. Your support can contribute to the sustainment and expansion of granulosa cell tumor research at MD Anderson Cancer Center, including the international patient registry.
All received donations will go toward funding granulosa cell tumor research. For more information on the Registry, please visit GCTRegistry.org or email us at GCTRegistry@mdanderson.org.
Gifts to MD Anderson Cancer Center are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law. The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center's EIN is 74-6001118.
